1. Public School Special Education
- Advice and assistance at any level with a public School District.
- We advise and represent you from the initial request for assessment, to the IEP meeting and through due process hearing and appeal.
2. Regional Center
- Advice and assistance at any level from initial eligibility, to IPP meetings and through fair hearing and appeal.
3. Insurance Coverage for Autism Treatment
- Dealing with your insurance company can be difficult and confusing. Does your child need any of the following services?
- ABA
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Residential placement or in-patient hospitalization
- Do you know that coverage may be available for these services through your health insurance policy? Have you already made a claim for any of these services and been denied coverage? If so, we may be able to help you obtain coverage.
- If your claims are wrongfully denied by your insurance company or if your benefits are wrongfully limited, you have legal remedies available to you. You have the right to appeal to either the California Department of Insurance or the Department of Managed Health Care.
- In addition, depending on your insurance policy, a mandatory appeal may be necessary prior to filing a lawsuit. If this type of appeal is required by your policy, you MUST file this appeal within six months after the denial of your claim. If you don't, you LOSE YOUR RIGHT TO OBTAIN LEGAL REMEDIES.
